Malayattoor Perunnal

Malayattoor Perunnal is celebrated in the month of April. St.Thomas Chruch, Malayattoor is situated in the Aluva, Ernakulam.  Malayattoor Kurisusmudy is an international pilgrim centre of St.Thomas the Apostle. This is situated 1200 ft above sea level. There is a huge number of people come to Malayattoor church during holy week. It is believed that climbing the mountain is done by a vow in reparation of sins. Devotees carry the cross and walk kilometres to reach Malayattor.  It is believed that St.Thomas Apostle stayed and prayed at top of the hill.
